A dual junction isolator is two circulators in one package connected together and performs ~ twice the isolation. An isolator is a two terminal device and is constructed the same as a circulator but with one of the terminals grounded. It provides isolation (high attenuation) in one direction but lets the signal go through relatively easy in the opposite direction. |
