Radiated Immunity Test Systems

The setup for a radiated immunity test system is traditionally done with many separate instruments. This ‘old school’ testing will do the job but more convenient and less risky is Frankonia’s ECU-6 EMC Control Unit. The ECU-6 is a central EMC test and control unit and combines many major test components in just one compact box, such as: Signal Generator, Power Meter, Directional Couplers and Relay Switching.

This One Box solution reduces cabling work and or cabling mistakes. Further the ERC-6 includes general functions like EUT-monitoring and an interlock safety-system.

The ECU-6 is an all-round EMC control unit and can be used for many different conducted and radiated immunity tests. This clever device and easily switch between EMI-receiver and Spectrum Analyzer and Measuring different antennas without time consuming cabling work. It also allows to control and switch automatically between up to 4 external amplifiers and up to 3 different outputs for antennas or coupling devices.

Test levels up to 30V/m are available too and RS test system for other standards (ISO11452-2, MIL-STD-461 RS103 or similar) can also be supplied.
